How do you raise money for medical bills with a comedy benefit?
Everyone says the same thing: let me know if there's anything I can do. Most of them mean it, and most of them never get an answer. A benefit night gives all those people somewhere to be. They buy a ticket to a clean comedy show, pick up raffle tickets on the way in, and bid on whatever local businesses donated. The family keeps at least half of everything that comes in, and usually a good deal more.
